Count - as in count the votes I have OR as in THE COUNT.
You remember The Count from Sesame Street. The vampire who told us all what the number of the day was but who couldn't count past three. One Two Three AH AH AH all in his vampire accent.
That is who I am these days. Not a vampire but a definite Count - counting my votes. They are going up - slowly and I want to thank everyone who has voted so far.
BUT I really want to count alot more votes so VOTE VOTE VOTE.

OPTIMISM
OPTIMISM
Hopefulness and confidence about the future or the successful outcome of something.
If you saw my last couple of posts and noticed I had skipped a couple of days you will see that I was not very happy with being stuck on the same amount of votes.
BUT I AM OPTIMISTIC!
I believe that anything is possible.
I believe that the people who have entered and already have 2000 votes will run out of voters and get stuck.
I believe that everyone who has promised to vote for me will.
I believe that my brothers will post all of my information on their Facebook pages (finally) and everyone that sees it there will vote for me.
I believe that people who don't know me who hear about me doing this will take the time to vote for me.
I believe that I can win a TICKET TO GIVE.

My journey is expanding to the West Coast.....
.....Well at least my cause is.
The one thing that my brothers and I have in common besides the fact that we look a lot alike and have all wrestled and played baseball, is that we have had a lot of the same teachers.
The only teacher that all three of us have had is our second grade teacher Mrs. Graham who is wonderful and probably the only person who would put up with three seven year old Marables. All three of us also had the same project when we were in second grade – we had a Flat Stanley project that worked on reading, writing and geography.
We all had to send Flat Stanley somewhere – TJ’s Stanley went to Texas and visited the Alamo, Tyler’s went to New York and had a movie made about his adventures with my Uncle Jim at the Nickelodeon studios. My Flat Stanley went to Florida and then got on a plane and spent several days in Las Vegas.
I started thinking about my Flat Stanley because my mom and I are going to Las Vegas at the end of the summer to meet up with her friend Sue and her kids – she has known Sue since first grade. They live in California and my first choice was to actually meet up with them in California so that along the way I could go visit the TOMS office - but that isn’t happening.
Sue’s kids are Christopher and Ally and they are both in high school and close to my age.
Since they are on the West Coast and I am on the East Coast I am proposing to them that I pack up my cause and send it to them. I’ve asked them to be my promoters on the West Coast and my mom has challenged them to see if they can get more votes on that side of the US than I can on this side and to see which one of them can get more votes between them.
So to everyone here on the East Coast and in between – don’t let the West Coasters beat you in votes.
I need a lot of VOTES – VOTE for ME – VOTE OFTEN – pass along my information, my TOMS site and this site to everyone you know and post it all on your Facebook page.
Well my quest to get a Ticket To Give continues and I just need more votes! Don’t forget about me VOTE VOTE VOTE VOTE.

Slow Day on another Snow Day
Day 4: Very slow day today. No votes but what can you do. A lot of time left keep finding people to vote.
Wednesday, March 6, 2013
Thought for a snow day...
Day 3: 40 Votes and the leader has more than 1000. I am hoping that means that because of the snow everyone's electricity and internet was down and that is why I don't have more votes... Better yet, if you are stuck inside because of the snow, get your friends and family to vote for me while you have the time.
My thought for this snow day.....wouldn't it be great if TOMS created snow boots I guess that would defeat the purpose of how they are made but it would be nice.
For all of their styles that you can buy and participate in ONE FOR ONE check out

While you are there go to TICKET-TO-VOTE search Trevor M and VOTE VOTE VOTE for me.

SHOEMAGEDDON....Otherwise Known As The Beginning Of One Young Man's Journey To Share His Love Of Shoes By Putting Them on Someone Else's Feet......
I am a shoe freak.
Ask anyone who knows me – I have a collection of shoes that most females would be jealous of. There isn’t one particular kind of shoe that I like – I have nikes, addidas, sperrys, slippers, flip-flops, wrestling shoes and baseball cleats in all colors from the standard black, brown and white to red, dark blue, light blue, turquoise, grey, green. I even have a pair of flowered hemp beach lace up shoes and a pair of sheepskin lined UGGS sneakers.
However, my favorite shoes are probably my TOMS.
I discovered TOMS a few years ago and have been getting a pair from my dad for Christmas for the past three years. I've given my mom two pairs of TOMS.
But it is not just the shoe that makes them my favorite – it is the story behind the company and what the company does and what the company stands for that I think is important.
For those of you not familiar with TOMS, the company matches ONE FOR ONE – for every pair of shoes purchased they give a pair of shoes to a child in need. This is to keep them healthy and to allow them to go to school. It is also not a one time thing – as they grow, they get new TOMS.
TOMS distributes the shoes on GIVING TRIPS.
This year, TOMS is taking 50 of their customers with them on GIVING TRIPS and I want to be one of the ones to go.
I want to put shoes on someone else’s feet and see them as happy as I am when I get a new pair of shoes. I want them to have the same opportunities I have had.
For me, this isn’t just a cool trip – this is something I truly believe in - this is an experience for my future.
I am asking that everyone vote for me between March 4 and April 12 – it is very easy
